Cargo is go-to-market infrastructure for revenue teams, optimized for enriching records, researching accounts, and running that work from a play. You can connect a play to web search through Linkup to pull in live web information, company research, and structured answers. Cargo documents the connector at Linkup on Cargo.

Get your Linkup API key

Get your API key

Create a Linkup account for free to get your API key.

Connect Linkup in Cargo

In Cargo, open the Linkup integration and paste your API key. Cargo sends that key with each action.

Add a Linkup action

Add the Search action or the Instruct action to your play, fill in the fields below, and run the step.

Actions

Searches the web with a natural-language query. This action calls the Search endpoint.

Instruct

Returns a sourced answer or a structured response for a question. Use a structured response when you need specific fields, such as company facts, product details, or competitive notes. Cargo lists connector credit costs on the Linkup on Cargo page. Linkup bills the underlying API calls as described on the pricing page.

Best practices

  1. Use "deep" when the question needs a more thorough pass.
  2. For structured output, define a precise JSON schema so each run returns the same fields.
  3. Write a specific query. Extra context in the question improves the result.
