# Cargo

> Search the web and enrich records in Cargo with Linkup

## Overview

[Cargo](https://www.getcargo.ai) is go-to-market infrastructure for revenue teams, optimized for enriching records, researching accounts, and running that work from a play. You can connect a play to web search through Linkup to pull in live web information, company research, and structured answers.

## Installation

## Actions

### Search

Searches the web with a natural-language query. This action calls the [**Search**](/pages/documentation/endpoints/search/overview) endpoint.

| Search depth | `"standard"` for a quicker search, or `"deep"` for a more thorough search |

### Instruct

Returns a sourced answer or a structured response for a question.

| Output type | A sourced answer, or a structured response |
| Structured output schema | JSON schema used when the output type is structured |

Use a structured response when you need specific fields, such as company facts, product details, or competitive notes.

## Use cases

* **Company research.** Pull current information about companies, products, and news into a play.

* **Data enrichment.** Fill records with live web data using structured output.

## Best practices

1. Use `"deep"` when the question needs a more thorough pass.
2. For structured output, define a precise JSON schema so each run returns the same fields.
3. Write a specific query. Extra context in the question improves the result.
